Interactive EKG course

Stop matching
pictures.
Start measuring.

Most EKG courses teach you to recognize twelve pictures and hope the patient cooperates. This one teaches the thing experts actually do — put calipers on the paper and reason from the numbers.

PR

Pattern-matching
breaks at 3 a.m.

Recognition works until the strip is noisy, the rate is odd, or the patient has two things wrong at once. Measurement doesn't have that failure mode. A number is a number at any hour.

Recognition

"This looks like the SVT strip from the slide deck." Fast, confident, and wrong the moment the picture shifts — artifact, an unusual axis, a rate between the two examples you were shown.

Measurement

"R–R is 20 mm, so 75 bpm. PR is 4 small squares — 160 ms, normal. QRS is narrow." Same method every time, and it tells you when you're outside what you know.

QRS

Drag the calipers.

This is the whole method in one control. Grab either leg, span an interval, read the number. Every lesson in the course ends with you doing exactly this.

This is a real module from the course, running here in full. Every tracing is generated from a parametric model, so you can push an interval until it becomes a diagnosis and watch which flags trip.

T

Eight modules, one method

01 · ANATOMY

Anatomy of one beat

Isolate each component, then deform it with sliders and watch the interpretation flags change in real time.

02 · CALIPERS

Graded caliper practice

Randomized tasks with real tolerances. The strip knows its own true intervals, so the feedback is exact.

03 · RATE

Both rate methods

The 300 rule and the 6-second count, with the module telling you which one the rhythm actually permits.

04 · RHYTHM

Twenty rhythms

Sinus through asystole, each with distractors chosen to be the ones people genuinely confuse it with.

05 · AXIS

Draggable axis

Move the mean vector and six leads rewrite themselves live. Projection stops being abstract.

06 · 12-LEAD

Territories and vessels

Full twelve-lead cases with reciprocal changes modeled, not just elevation drawn in.

07 · DRILL

Mixed drill

Strips and twelve-leads shuffled with no warning which is next — the only honest test format.

08 · METHOD

The reading order

The eight-step sequence to run on every tracing, plus the numbers worth knowing cold.

+ · TOGETHER

A complete learning experience

All eight modules share one engine, so what clicks in Anatomy shows up again in the Mixed drill. Nothing here is learned in isolation.
